Welcome to the Riesel ISD website. The community of Riesel is located approximately 20 miles southeast of Waco, TX on Hwy 6. Riesel ISD is a district of approximately 570 students and we serve grades Pre-k through twelfth grade. The district has been rated recognized or exemplary since 1999 and we take great pride in our academic program. We have two campuses, an elementary that serves Pre-k through 6th grade and a JH/HS that serves 7-12. In Riesel, our students enjoy the opportunity to receive a strong education as well as take part in numerous extra curricular activities. UIL academics, one-act play, athletics, FFA, cheerleading, band, dance, and the national honor society are a few activities available to our students. We want to thank you for visiting our website.
